*Flanger NOTE:  Settings given are those for non-evh model flangers.  If you have an EVH model, all you need to do is push the EVH switch to get the sound of the 75% Regen setting.  If you have an EVH model leave the knobs set with the 25% Regen setting so you can go back and forth easily between heavier and lighter Flanged sounds by using the EVH switch.

If you're using a non-EVH model MXR Flanger you'll have to adjust the Regen between the 75% setting for the heavier Flanging sound, and the 25% setting for the lighter Flanged sound..  All other settings such as Manual, Width, and Speed are the same for either sound, only the Regen changes..
