they told us anyway.
If we missed anyone on this page. we apologize

Jeff Fiorentino
a.k.a.
"JFRocks Jeff"

Co-owner & Production coordinator for JFRocks & Story City
Entertainment
Derek Meyer
Music transcribers for the JFRocks website & all products
Jeff Fiorentino
Erica Reese
Tablature and lesson cross checking
Jeff Fiorentino
Erica Reese
Webmaster / customer service / errand boy / video editor
Mr.
Kelly Ross
Second video editor & co-owner / script consultant for Story City
Entertainment
Jeremy (is that a Stratocaster) D. Miller
Sound engineer
Mick the Mixer
We get asked a lot about Mick, so please note that Mick the
mixer is NOT his real name. If it was
I'm not sure what ethnic group the last name "the mixer" would be from, but I
know its not from Earth.
For conflict of interest reasons due his job at a certain studio that starts
with W. we must hide his identity.
We wanted to call him Clark Kent, or Peter Parker, but he wouldn't go for it.
JFRocks Co-founder & original site designer
And always a good friend to us over here
Actor Keith Coogan
"Dishes are done"
Our resident Hollywood insider guru
The guy with
a Million stories & contacts
Bill Normyle
"Mr. Celebrity Justice/TMZ"
Staff assistant / PA to Jeff Fiorentino
Zoe Jacques
Zoe is really the one that decides when the lessons go up because it's all
about Jeff's schedule.
If we have to cancel or postpone a lesson it's usually Zoe's call.
She's pretty much our real boss,
she runs the show around here. Just the same we like to let Jeff think
that he's the one in charge
Administrative help / comic relief / guitar heroine / acting
goddess
The mighty "Erin"
Official JFRocks mascot & our studio pet
Ed the Parrot
a.k.a. E.T.P.
Ed is the bird featured as a joke
on the "Atomic Parrot" video lesson off our "Vin Heuton 1" VH style product.
Ed will also be featured on the cover
of Vin Heuton's "1948", which is slotted for release in early 2009.
A little known fact is that Ed is to Jeff's left
just off camera for every video we shoot for the website, or our products.
We call these "Ed's Press shots"
(just to be cute of course)
Click photos to view larger images
Ed is Jeff's / JFRocks's pet, we
all sort of take care of him. And no we don't let him drink Scotch.
Alcohol is deadly to birds because of small livers. It's just a funny
photo we took one Saturday evening, so no emails please.
Jeff rescued him "E.T.P." from a
pet store in Palos Verdes CA back in July of 2003.
Ed was not a happy camper to say the least. He's fine now let me
tell ya, and pretty popular too!
Many of the people that we run into out and about that have been long time fans
of the site or Jeff's
ask how Ed the Parrot is doing long before they ask about me (Kelly Ross) or
Jeremy or Mick
the Mixer etc.
Our long time visitors know that Ed is trained to do the DLR scream at the
beginning of Unchained.
But he's also quite fond of Country music. I guess that makes sense since
Jeff is in the Southwest
Bluegrass association and plays Mandolin and Guitar for a couple different local
Bluegrass acts.
For those interested, Ed is a Male "Red
Sided Eclectus".
I mention that only because we get asked a lot what he is..
The "REAL" Stars of JFRocks.com
The main lineup of guitars used for our product & website vids and music
This website and what we do here has NEVER been about Jeff
or any of us.
We're just a bunch of crazy idiots from Los Angeles with too much time on our
hands.
The REAL stars of the show are below!!

&
JFRocks.com
We have a lot of outside help too but they've asked to be ghosts
& we respect that.
We appreciate the support when we need it guys, thanks very much!!
All video and "most" of the music is recorded at
The JFRocks studio located in Pacific Palisades California
"Some" of the music is recorded at
Mick the Mixer's home studio in Trancas, CA
We either call it the "holy crap that's a lot of stairs studio",
or the "Stairway from Hell studio" - Depends on our mood or who we're with.
(see photo below and you'll
understand why)
"That's Zoe the JFRocks assistant in the photo"
"Just to give you a scale to work with, she's 20 feet tall"
"OK fine, she's 5'7", but trust me it's a big flight of stairs"

To get the full effect of this Stairway to Hell

Then imagine carrying guitar's and amps up this monster!!

Special thanks to
and some off the wall funny stuff
Story City
Entertainment

For being an outlet for our off the wall and sometimes insane creative
energies.
Michael J.
Fox
It's a long story, but we have to thank Michael.
We encourage donations to the
Michael J. Fox Foundation if you're able to.
It's a worthy cause that benefits all of us.
Erin, Andy, Rich, Erica, Kim, Jason, Alan, Jordan,
Julia, Derek, Reed, Steve M., & the rest
For all of your behind the scenes help, friendship, stories, mishaps,
antics, & ideas.
This site would be half as fun to do without all of you, & we sure wouldn't
laugh as much either.
You guys are without a doubt the best friends on Earth, period, end of story!
The JFRocks
FORUM Moderators
You guys are awesome!! Thanks very much for keeping the forum clean
and operating.
Thanks for sharing your vast guitar knowledge with those in need of assistance.
We appreciate that you always have our backs
and are diligent in keeping the "riff raff" & "JFRocks critics"
out of there.
We couldn't run the forum without all of you, so thanks very much.
Jeremy D. Miller
For all of his editing work, and his countless "if I had a Dollar for every
time" jokes
(And yes Jeremy, it's a Stratocaster)
Monique
For all of her technical support and help,
we appreciate you a great deal M.
Zoe Jacques
For being a very cute good sport,
and for dealing with the day to day hassles at both JFRocks & Story City
Our critics
We're flattered, thank you.
It's a fact that if you don't have critics, you're either doing something wrong,
or you're not making an impact. So all of us at JFRocks are flattered that
you take time
out of your lives (which you won't get back by the way) to
bitch about us and what we're doing
Bill Normyle
For all of his important Hollywood contacts that we love to call just so
they can say,
"Bill who"?? "Oh yeah that guy right"!! "Isn't he
dead"??
And for his crazy stories about Harry Gold, Alan Thicke, and the "old days" when
"Hollywood was local"
(Don't ask it's a long story, but we all laughed our asses off
over here when we read it back)
Jeff's neighbors in Pacific Palisades
For putting up with us, and being very cool (usually) about the noise,
& Derek
(and they know what we mean by "& Derek")
The cities of Santa Monica & Pacific Palisades California
For reminding us (with expensive tickets) to get parking permits
Julie & Warren from "Jack in the Box" on P.C.H. in Malibu
For the free curly fries, YOU GUYS RULE!!
& we hope you always work there
(for selfish reasons of course)
Special thanks to everyone that's a fan of this site
Without you guys there's no reason for us to even be here
All of us over here appreciate every single one of you
Special thanks to everyone that's purchased JFRocks products from our store
Without you guys there would be no site to come to.
We appreciate the support very much, thanks!!

And of course last but not least we have to thank
Jeff Fiorentino
Because without his amazing creativity, hard
work, & strong desire to "teach"
and give something back, this awesome & popular website wouldn't exist in the first place
And on top of that none of us, his friends, would have jobs
without him. It sure would be tougher to go on auditions too.
So thanks Jeff for keeping us all employed and off the "mean streets" of
Santa Monica and Pali (Kelly Ross)

We've literally got a Million photos that have been sent in over
the years.
I'm putting a separate page together to compile some of the best ones
as a show of appreciation to the fans of the site that have sent them into us.
