D portion

Open strings DO NOT sound they are accents only.

** What is tabbed below is what I intended to play on video, in other words what I would normally play for this section.  It's 99% what is on the video lesson and mp3.  The open strings are only accents and do not sound out.  They occur when the volume is down.  As with Cathedral it's best to practice things like this by picking the riffs out instead of using volume knobs and delays.  If you were to pick this riff the open strings in the tab below would sound out as muted accents. They appear in the tab to help you with the feel of the riff section.

Riff 4

Mid Range Violin transition section.

No Octave pedal just delay and some compression if possible.

Note:  Open notes are extra sounding accent notes.  They are very faint.  See video for help with this.  It involves doing an extra turn of the volume knob.  These open strings are different than the ones in Riff 2.  These actually do sound out as accents as we play.
