Solo
section #1
Take note of the scale
patterns being used, and also the bent notes.. Also take note of the
chords written above the leads. Those chords represent what guitar 1 is
doing as you solo, which of course as I always say is equally as important as
the leads...

Rhythm break
This is just a rhythm section
for practice. After all these are lessons, and there's more to playing
guitar than just leads. This rhythm break along with the interludes should
be get you used to the Latin feel used on this example track.. This is a
similar riff to what the bass plays in Black magic woman blended with the
general vibe of the verse riff in a classic VH tune off of the Balance CD.

The
Club Tropicana interlude and breakdown
I talk about feel and timing
on the video lesson. This is here not unlike the other rhythm sections
to get you used to the Latin feel of this piece... See video for help with
the accents, and remember to be very loose with these chord hits and riffing...

**Treble or Bridge pickup
was used....

We revert back to our song
opening for this outro with the exception of the ending riff.. 3
guitar parts are in play again. Only the lead part is tabbed below, since
the rhythms are the same as they were in the song intro...

Ending Riff
This again will be good
practice on the JAm TRack for Latin feel and timing.. Watch the ending
two chord hits. They're not straight eighth notes.. They're two 16th
note hits with an eighth note rest.
In other words instead of
counting the final ending two chord hits as (1) (&), and hitting on both
the 1 and the & of 1. You count the final chord hits as (1) (&) (uh),
and you hit on the (1) and the (uh).
