Play with me style intro section

For this I used a pitch shifter and for lesson purposes I slowed it down 10 bpm from where Nuno does it. The tabs below are written for NO PITCH SHIFTER. If you have a pitch shifter you can play it in the 5th position where I did, instead of the 17th position as it's tabbed below.

Guitar 2: Plays the Rhythm part under the riffing above. This is a great lesson, that's often ignored by people who learn songs like Play with me. Again, whether it's a riff, or a solo, it's a good idea to know what you're playing over. Especially if you want to be the Lead Guitarist in a band. The Lead Guitarist needs to know everyone's parts, often times better than they do. This is also important if you want to be the ONLY guitarist in your band. Then you really have to know what's going on. lol

Play with Volume down, then turn up the volume on the guitar for the final power chord hit.

More Bridge riffing

Pre-Solo Turnaround

This is usually a part of the song that creates a needed key setup for the solo. For those of you who write music, what's important here isn't where you start but where you end. Use chromatics or actually scale downs and scale ups with chords or scales to get to you where you need to be for what ever key or chord change you're using for your solo. In this case here I chose to go to "F" to achieve the end result of "Bb" which is where my solo starts. In the Key of F all B's are flat so it was a logical choice. Other choices could have been made.

Solo Part 2

This part utilizes arpeggios and the "Harmonic minor" scale. Take note of where the arpeggios start. Sometimes they begin on the 3rd for example. Then take note of the chord written above the tabs. If the arpeggios is C#, E, A then the chord is actually an A/C#, however the bass may be driving an "A". If you were doing a guitar accompaniment you would more than likely do an A/C# chord..
