Kick in

This is basically the same riff as far as feel goes but the beginning changes up a little as far as the chords go.  We're off of an A minor chord now instead of an E minor.

Verse riffing

This is a take off on the wait riff a little.  What it is is a classic Vito style blending of a single note riff around a chord pattern, followed by the same basic idea of the riff, riffed out over the chord pattern itself.  This style or idea can be heard in wait where the main riff is then chorded out as I like to say.

Apply a little bit of or Semi-harmonic to these notes.  See vid for help.

Most open strings are muted, I saved space by note putting x's next to them.

Solo

This solo is a very basic representation of the transitions and techniques used in this playing style.  Lots of two hand stuff but also a nice use of scales for non-two hand stuff.  This is a very melodic style with a lot of twists and turns in it.  You should be quirky with it like with V. H.., however, it should also be a bit less random sounding than V. H.. if you want the Vito effect.

This solo is done in Em of course over an Em, D, C, G, D chord pattern.  If you have a decent speaker setup on your computer as most do these days, you can hear the bass line in your Right speaker.  The basic bass line that's done under this solo is tabbed below for you.

Main Bass part that's under the solo.

Since the ending below comes out of a tap sequence you'll need to pluck the bent notes with your index finger.  This is part of where their sound comes from too as it's not a pick striking them.
